What are some of the well-loved gun products that continue to face the same persistent problems?

Kimber 1911s are a classic example. They’re great guns that have a devoted fan base but unfortunately, quality control issues have been a recurring theme across various models. Some of these come out of the box flawless, while others struggle with extraction or feeding problems. Given the premium price tag, it’s understandably frustrating to deal with such inconsistencies which have been well documented.

Weapon lights have gotten insanely popular, but folks still complain about batteries dying fast or switches breaking under recoil. They’re great tools, no doubt but they come with their own little quirks.

Some aftermarket high-capacity magazines have feeding issues. I had a Sub 2000 SW magazine. Went through three of them. The third one worked perfect. Some time ago but just my experience.

Rifle slings - Prices vary considerably and quality varies with prices. The fake leather ones will come apart within 2 yrs!! I don't think Old Mike still makes the nylon slings anymore, but I bought several about 40 yrs ago and they are still being used.
