I am a long-time shooter and reloader, formerly an FFL holder, with a long-time family history in Florida (early 1800s or before), although as a military brat, I missed being born in Florida by 6 weeks. This is my 6th time living in Florida, since 1948, and I suspect it will be my final location (if my wife has any say). I am a retired professional engineer and Naval officer, with additional time spent prior to the Navy in the Marines ("born" on Parris Island). I am currently trying to salvage all or parts of several rifles and pistols that have been abused during their active "lives". Those I can, I get back to shooting, even if not very "pretty"; the others are used to salvage parts others might be able to use, to supplant those many "hens' teeth" that keep us from fixing a keeper. My guns are shooters, not (supposed to be) safe queens, but this heat and rain are not helping.

After 28 years in the military and over 60 years on & off with the NRA, hard to list them all, except maybe not so much into shotguns and class 3 anymore. And, at my age, "high-power" is getting lower by the year.
