So I’ll start with a word, and then the next person will jump in with just ONE WORD to keep the story going. So your creativity and unique thinking will be showcased here. If you guys feel like the story has come to a close, you can say, “The story is over. Time for a new one: [your one word].”

I don't mean to be a jerk or party pooper here, but seriously dude, we're not 12yrs old & this kinda stuff is not the way to attenpt to generate content & participation from grown men that joined this forum for hunting, shooting, gun related topics, fishing & other adult outdoors sporting related things to discuss. NOT kids games like your last 2 threads for them.
I mean no offense or disrespect here, just telling it like it is.
If this forum is taking " that direction " full of silly kids games to try to get activity, created by the admin, then its time for me to leave in all honesty.
You're the head admin, or only admin, set a good example & if you want group participation, go shooting, go hunting, go fishing, hell, just go camping, pop a beer & grill some game meat & post about it all - with pics or it didn't happen & I friggin promise that I'll have nicer things to say.
The ZERO responses to either of your threads is a pretty good indicator that I'm not the only one in here with this mindset, just the only one to point it out.

Yep!, I've stopped posting here, my last post was some two weeks ago, Oct 26th.
Right after I was hit for the fourth time to join for $10 because I had been on this site for a few months.

I understand completely.
This forum is floundering & the friggin incessant PM’s wanting money are too much.
My buddy Rem_fan deleted his acct recently for the same reasons. He too tried to generate engagement with quality content & repeatedly got little to none of it. Same for me. And when I saw what the admin thought was a good way to get attn with FB type kids games, that rubbed me the wrong way. I’ve been on the fence about leaving this forum myself & I took about a 3wk sabbatical from it.
And when I posted a few threads yesterday about my deer harvest with a very cool smokeless muzzleloader & taking 2 turkey with one shot from my BP shotgun, and I’ve debuted a worlds first of its kind full custom long range target smokeless .30 muzzleloader - none of that has gotten anything but a like or two.
I’ve posted about my fishing adventures & not much interaction from any of it.
I’m not butthurt or anything of the sort, just think I’m wasting my time & effort to try & help get this forum going.
Hell, I posted about starting a monthly postal shooting match & that got only a cpl responses.
Thanks for your post & your effort to help this state forum.
I don’t know what else to do to contribute to this forum at this point.

Hey @Ninering62, really appreciate you being straight about it. The reason why there's an off-topic section is for us to post something like this, and I totally get how it could be misinterpreted. My goal was to have little more casual discussion going, but not to the point of pulling the focus away from our main interests in hunting, shooting, and the outdoors.

No offense taken at all! I really appreciate your input, and you’ve made some great points about keeping the forum focused on what matters most to our community. I’ll definitely use this as a reminder to lead by example in my future posts and ensure that the content reflects what we’re all here for.Thanks again for bringing this up in such a respectful way. Our goal has always been to maintain this space as a great place for mature discussions about guns, gear, and the lifestyle that comes with it.
