Picked up something new today and figured I'd start a thread for others to share too. Doesn't have to be anything big — ammo, accessories, deals you found, trades you made — if it's gun-related, post it up.

What'd you find or buy recently?

I got a Sig 226 "40th anniversary" 9mm a couple weeks back. "Retro" (no rail/optic cut) with total 4 15rd mags for $699. Well, $822.54 before it got into my hands, after everybody "upstream" got their vig. Best 9mm I have ever owned. Joe

Earlier this year, I think H&R 949

I bought a Vortex Spitfire 1x prism sight for my CZ Scorpion Carbine. Had a Sig Romeo 5 red dot on it for the past few years (great optic by the way) but decided to try the prism sight. I really like having the etched reticle (especially with my mild astigmatism) and not being dependent on batteries. Also the Vortex reticle can be illuminated red or green...pretty cool feature. Sighted it in today at the range.

Thanks for creating this thread.
In the last wk I got a cpl lbs of smokeless powder & 200) 325g .45 bullets for my smokeless target muzzleloader, & I got a .451 bullet sizing die.
I do a lot of bullet testing & load development on my home range & I've managed to " canoe " the top of one chrony & had a sabot impact the face of another & the third chrony my friend trimmed that with 3) .223 impacts. Between all that & the PITA setting them up just right, then dealing with constant errors or failure to read, I've had enough! On the 1st I ordered a new Garmin Xero C1 Pro chrony. It will be here between 7/5 & 7/10 & I can't wait. One of my friends has one & on 3 occasions I've got to have that at my range & boy oh boy is that thing nice. And I never need to worry about another chrony getting shot again.

I recently picked up some new (to me) handguns and accessories, including a CZ Custom Accu Shadow, Kimber Custom Aegis, Sig P365 macro comp, Ruger Mark III and Mark IV and Dan Wesson .357. The Sig and Mark III have shake awake optics. Accessories included kydex holsters and assorted Wilson Combat magazines. The holsters are all right handed and I'm not, so they are going to be sold or traded. (Preferably traded. I need mags for the Sig) along with some of the magazines.

I found my Holy Grail gun. One that I had been seeking for years.
It was in a local pawn shop, a pristine S&W Model 36 Chief's Special. It's a straight 36, no dash.
Less than $500 too!!!

No, I'm not a Glock Guy. Out of all my handguns I only have two polymers. Ruger LCPII and Taurus G3C.
I'm a revolver and 1911 guy.

Dang man, did you rob a bank? 6 handguns plus optics, magazines, and holsters? (y)

I got 2 stocks for 2 builds, ( one of them is out of a Tiger wood blank that a friend made for me ) I got 3 diff bullet sizing dies, 600 bullets, & I ordered a new Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chrony.

Got a Winchester 9422 M shoots great but the stock needs work and the gun has some rust. It's an early version with the steel magazine tube 1974. The barrel looks good. Feeds and ejects perfectly. I would add pictures but can't figure how. What do you guys think it's worth?

It's old and dangerous, not worth anything, I'll pm you my address. Ship it to me, I'll dispose of it safely.😜
Those are fun guns👍
And welcome to the forum!

A sweet little 1959 Colt Single Action Frontier Scout 22LR 4.75", and a VERY nice 1977 JM Marlin 1894 44mag lever action.
I am really into single action revolvers, so my collection has been growing like a wild fire. Really need to slow down on my buying.

I just snagged one of those too. early 6 digit serial number. I bought it based on the pictures. Was hoping for a CCW revolver for my rotation. This darned thing is absolutely PRISTINE though. Looks brand new. Too nice to carry. I will shoot it, but believe me when I tell you that it gets wiped down like a 1960s Ferrari.
I THINK the year is 1961 if I remember right.

Every once in a while opportunity knocks and you have to answer the door. Just kidding. I've been collecting for many years, and would usually have to save up for more than a year to purchase anything. Fortunately, in my retirement funds are a little more readily available, and the guns I mentioned were part of an estate. Believe me, it was considerably more than I usually spend.
