If you were faced with the tough decision of keeping only one handgun and one rifle, what would your choices be?

That's a tough one. For pure sentimental reasons it would be my grand dads Pre Model 30 I Frame in 32 S&W Long, and his Remington Model 41 Target Master that was the first gun I ever shot when I was around 6 years old. The knuckles were his too.

If it were for home defense or a survival situation my options would be different.

That kind of sentimental value is truly irreplaceable, especially if they're connected to family history and significant first experiences. They’re memories you can physically hold onto. I also find it interesting how you separated sentiment from practicality. It really shows how the “one handgun, one rifle” question can vary depending on whether you’re thinking with your heart or from a purely defensive or survival angle. If you’re willing to share, I’d be curious to know what your picks would be if you had to answer it strictly from a practical viewpoint.

That's a really hard decision. First thought would be my 11.5" Colt LE6920 that has a green dot Trijicon ACOG, and my Sig P365 or my Glock 23 with a 9mm conversion barrel. Those would probably be my choice in a defensive situation.

My SP5 SBR, and the Sig or Glock would also make sense, due to both using the same ammo and suppressor. I really need a 5.56 suppressor.
