Thinking Glock 43X for My Wife – Good Choice?

My wife just recently got interested in concealed carry, and I'm a little stuck on what options to recommend for her to try. I've always been a 1911 guy myself, and I also have a Springfield 9mm, so my experience is a bit limited when it comes to the smaller carry pistols.

We went to our local shop, but they don't offer rentals or have a range, so I'm going to have to find a place that does and hopefully has some of the compact Glocks available to test.

Any thoughts on the Glock 43X for her? I doubt she'd need the MOS version since she's not planning on using a light or optics. I've also been considering the Sig P365 as another option.

I'm not a big fan of after market mags but, All reports are coming back good, so that is 15+1.

Yes, find a range that she can shoot the 43X before you buy.

Just a few suggestions to check out before buying. The FN Reflex is an excellent choice, as is the Sig P365 Macro Comp. Both are easily concealable, relatively easy to rack, and are double stacks. Personally, I really like the FN (for a polymer gun). Another unsung "hero" is the Bersa TPR.
My wife likes all of these as well as the Sig P938 Legion.

Glocks have no frills, but I think somewhere around 80 special forces group around the world use them. They are reliable, trigger sucks but you get accustom to shooting it or change it. I've carried a Glock 19 for years, I own a number of different pistols but Glocks check all the boxes I need it to

Check out the Sig 365 before y'all make the final purchase decision.

Let her shoot and have the final say in whatever gun is purchased for her use.
