Welcome. What I found out was some milsurp KICKS. And I like the unusual guns. But don't try to get them because you end up with a lot of money into guns that you don't shoot regularly.

Welcome to the forum. Trigger control, without a good correct trigger pull of your finger then you can cause a bad shot before it leaves the barrel. After that slowing your breathing down

When I was 7yrs old I was given a Savage break action .410. I spent the next year between my father & grandpa getting SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY drilled into my head. This is not a toy! It is a tool! And then, basic shooting skills.
ALWAYS be mindful of having my muzzle pointed in a safe direction & never sweep someone with the muzzle.
ALWAYS be mindful of not just what I’m shouting at, but what’s behind what I’m shouting at. I am the only one responsible for where my bullet ends up!
AKWAYS retrieved what I shoot, regardless of what it takes.
Never kill anything I don’t intend to eat. Never waste anything.
Always respect everything & everyone in the woods.
