How's the military surplus market looking these days? I remember when you could get a Mosin for less than $100 and stock up on surplus ammo without worrying. Now it feels like everything is either running low or priced like it's a rare collectible. Are there still some good deals out there if you know where to search, or have most of the great imports already been picked over? Is it still worth it?

Royal Tiger Imports still has reasonably priced milsurps, but quaility can be rather iffy.

There is a finite quantity of milsurps available, and all the Bubbas who cut them up over the years have affected prices too.
Luckily I got most of mine before the Great Recession stopped my ready supply of cash.

Obama stopping Russian imports in retaliation for Putin invading Crimea in 2014 is the reason Mosin Nagants are priced at $350 and above now. And Russian SKS's are close to $1,000

Nowadays, stumbling upon a decent milsurp item at a reasonable price feels like hitting the jackpot in a small lottery :ROFLMAO:

I remember when Mosins were $100.00 ($120 if the seller hand picks one for you. Hex receivers were about $10.00 more.

Parts for my Izmash Baby Biathlon kind concern me. Not Milsurp but Ruskie
