I'm looking for a reliable scope for deer season that stays under $300. Any suggestions that have good clarity and can hold zero after a few trips to the field?

I run the Vortex Crossfire II on my hunting rifles too, I love that V-brite MOA reticle. It makes quick shots way easier, zero holds tight, and it's tough enough for all the field abuse

Vortex Crossfire II V-brite MOA Reticle we have them or the Diamondback vortex on all our hunting rifles

They certainly are a good option for what you want & in your budget. Another excellent point is that if there ever is a prob with your Vortex scope, their cust srv & warranty is second to none.

Take a really good look at the Arken line too. My gun builder is a distributor for Arken & he had me take a very in-depth look at Arken, not just bc he can afford 5k optics on all of his guns, hes still bought 5 of them himself & he loves them. Thats saying a heck of a lot when a world class pro shooter that can have any dozen of the most expensive scopes money can buy, & he has a bunch of those, but he has bought 5 or 6 of them.
So I did just that. I like champagne optics on a beer budget, so I get all kinda of educated before I am buying something. Scopes especially.
I just had a prototype long range target gun built & I bought an Arken EP5 to put on it.
A cpl wks ago a cpl friends came over & we were at my shooting range & one of them had an Arken EP4. It was absolutely impressive & for only 335.00

Thanks for the tip, somehow I've never heard of them.
