I would love to be able to use one, but as a lefty, I think it would be uncomfortable.

Yes, I can run a pump or an auto without any problems,
(except for non-reversible safety buttons) I meant something like this:

I was given an Ithica mod 37 Featherweight 12ga when I was 13 by my grandpa. I absolutely loved that shotgun & I used it for everything from dove, quail, rabbit hunting to swapping out the barrel for the deerslayer barrel & deer hunting with it. I shot that gun so much over the next 30 something yrs that high brass would throw the pump back when fired. It got " retired ". for a " cheap " shotgun, it was nothing short of fantastic. And rmc51 is right, the bottom eject would be perfect for you.
