Bike Week

I usually leave my bike in the garage during Bike Week. Too many idiots that don't know how to ride, or know their alcohol limitations. I drive to Ormond Beach everyday during the winter months, get off 95 at Destination Daytona. Then I have to drive US1 past all the biker bars. Great places to hang out when you don't have 300K extra people around.

Saw this on my way there today. My dashcam's date was set a day ahead. People wonder why locals don't like Bike Week. Since 2001 I've seen stuff like this a lot during the 10 days. Never had a dashcam then.

I get it. Big events are both fun and crazy. When people who live there start changing their routes to stay away from the crowds, that says a lot.
