I know there a lot of them. Right now, I am thinking about Myan Cichlids. The seem to be more plentiful than blue gill. Anything new anybody if finding.
Was hunting in Big Cypress WMA late last year, it was a veritable parade! Walking catfish up to your neck, at least half a dozen different kinds of cichlids, agama lizards, you name it, it was there. The strangest thing was the clown knifefish, watching those things swim was positively creepy.
Mayan cichlids are everywhere now! Way more than bluegill. It is crazy how they've taken over canals and lakes, but at least they're fun to catch and there's no bag limit
