I believe in Florida if you live on acre or more you can shoot in your back yard as long as the bullets don't leave the yard:rolleyes:. Neighbors might be a different issue. Any comments or better info on this.

A .22 with a suppressor ok. A .308 I can see a problem.
 
Humm!!! I am rural (on 20 ac) and I have a 200 yd range out back of my house. I regularly shoot rifles/pistols from 17 cal to 300 WM and have never had any complaints. Out of courtesy to my neighbors, I usually wait until after 10:00 am before starting to shoot, in case they want to sleep late. I might suggest checking with your local Law Enforcement Dept. to see if there are any "local" regulations that might apply; otherwise, I would think that if you were allow to hunt on your property you, also, would be allowed to shoot. Not too sure this assumption would float within a City Limits. Good luck
