New chrony for my range

Arrived today.
An early BDay present to myself.
I have a backyard shooting range & I do a lot of bullet testing & load development here on a regular basis.
I’ve had 3 Caldwell chronys & another one was gifted to me. They’ve all been a PITA to deal with.
Early this yr a close friend from up north came down & he had just bought this new Garmin. We both are into everything “ shooting & hunting “ so we’ve both read everything about these new Garmins & he bought one before he came down. So I got to have 3 long days at my range, using it.
It’s a big purchase for me, but it’s worth every cent!
I won’t mind the “ wish sammiches “ & water for the rest of the month.
It is on charge right now & it will be on my shooting bench in the mornin. I got a neighbor comin over with his TC ENCORE smokeless muzzleloader for me to do his load development. I’m taking my latest TC Omega .45 smokeless muzzleloader ( SML ) to shoot for the first time as well.
Boy oh boy am I excited too!
If anyone else has one, or wants one, plz chime in, it’s well worth talking about.

I have Athlon optics that I really like for the price, but I chose to go with the Garmin & not the new Athlon or Caldwell bc of Garmin long rep with the electronics & Athlon is just getting into it & I’ve just had enough of dealing with Caldwell. I do have a cpl friends that did get the Athlon & they have had no complaints this far.
