We’ve got so many laws nowadays that it can feel a bit excessive, especially since most people would probably do the right thing if they just used a bit of common sense. I’ve always felt that if everyone adhered to the “Golden Rule” and acted responsibly, we wouldn’t need all this complexity surrounding firearms laws. That said, I do appreciate having a few straightforward rules to keep dangerous individuals in check, without turning everyday, law-abiding citizens into criminals over minor technicalities. It’s all about balancing personal responsibility with just enough guidance to keep things safe for me. Also, I wish lawmakers would prioritize common sense over creating layers of regulations that no one really understands.The US of A could do with 10% of the current legislation. Actually, the "Golden Rule" coupled with an inferred "Behave yourself" covers most all human interactions, armed or not. Joe
