I'm looking for a riflescope to pair with my new Howa 1500 in .308. I'm really looking for something that offers clarity since I'll be doing quite a bit of shooting during those dusk hours. If you’ve got any goto recos that perform well in low-light conditions, I'd love to hear them.

For a “ hunting scope “ with outstanding glass, quality & feature at a reasonable price you can’t beat GPO optics.

These days I spend my money on Trijicon optics for hunting.

The Trijicon Accupoint with green dot is ideal for early morning and late evening. Also very clear in the bright light, too.

Trijicons are not cheap, but they work.

Buy once / cry once.
I’d love to be able to afford a trijicon, but with me it would be buy once, cry forever. 🤣

I have used vortex or leupold till this year, I bought my son a Riton 4-16x44 for a new 308 I bought him, no illumination but the clarity is amazing and has the same warranty as vortex or most of the high end companies all for $200.00

I would look into Zeiss conquest or Nightforce SHV. I have a Zeiss on my 308, it tracks flawlessly, awesome glass (since Zeiss also makes camera lens and microscopes) and gathers light in those low light conditions.
