If you’ve played around with different suppressor mounts, did you find any noticeable differences in backpressure or blowback depending on the muzzle device and thread pitch? I’m really interested in hearing which setups worked best for you especially when you made gas tuning changes and what suppressors you had in the mix.

I've tried a lot of different setups and honestly the mount makes a bigger difference than I thought it would. Direct thread works fine but constantly taking it on and off gets old pretty fast. Quick detach mounts are definitely better although some of them do seem to push more gas back at me than others. I've used both ASR and KeyMo and it felt like the ASR was blowing more gas my way but that could just be the can itself. The muzzle device you use matters too. It seems like brakes help a bit with the gas compared to flash hiders but nothing's going to completely solve the issue without tuning your gas system.

Old thread, but I have a Charlie ASR mounting system that came on my SilencerCo 5.56 Velos LBP silencer.

I've put brakes on 4 different AR's ranging from 10.5" to 16", and my 16" bolt action rifle. I've not noticed any gassing, but the silencer is a low back pressure design.

The guys I know who run suppressors always say the simpler mounting systems cause fewer problems in the long run. Once you start stacking complicated parts, something always seems to come loose.
