This is my newest TC Omega muzzleloader that has been converted into a .45 1:18 smokeless muzzleloader capable of handling loads in the 45k psi range. I've been an " Omega fanboy " since they came out in 2000. I'm up to my 6th one now, with only 1 factory .50 & the others are custom smokeless builds.
I'll post pics of my .40 Omega full custom tgst shoots .40 200g -225g bullets as fast as 3000fps if anyone is interested in seeing that & learning anything about it, just ask.
I will be shooting 45/40 sabot rounds out of it primarily.
I'll be shooting .40 225g bullets in a .45 sabot @2700fps or faster if I want to.
The stock is an AppleJack laminate that I inletted for the upgraded 1pc heavy duty recoil lug. The Breech plug is an adjustable head space 209 shotgun primer special design with a tungsten carbide vent liner in it to handle that kind of pressure without bulging & sticking 209 primers.
The scope is a Sightron STAC III 3-16x42 FFP IR MOA
The finished gun weighs exactly 9lbs
