Most auto-shucking shotguns these days are clones of either Benelli (inertia driven) or Beretta (gas driven).
Gas guns weigh more and are easier on your shoulder. If you are sitting in a duck blind, on a bucket in a dove field or propping your gun in a rack to wait your turn to shoot in a tournament, weight is not much of a concern.
Inertia guns are lighter and more pleasant to tote if you are walking with pointers, stomping heavy cover for roosters, walking a pack of hounds in the deer / rabbit woods, or running and gunning chasing a distant gobbler.
Inertia guns fit my style better than gas guns.
