Really Weird Phone Call

I got a call this morning around 1:30am. Some dude said I use to work with him at the St. Augustine Record, and got him fired. I've not worked there since 2007. He knew nothing about the place, but knew my full name, that I'd worked there, and even my mom's name and that she has a summer house in Fairfield Ohio.

He said he was gonna come to my house and beat my @ss. Told him to come on if he knew where I lived.

He called back around 9:00 tonight and said he showed up at my house, around 3am but I never answered the door. Asked him what my house looked like and he said it was nice and I had a bench on my front porch. I actually do have a bench on my porch, but a couple years ago I had Google blur my house if anyone tried to look it up online. Maybe it was a lucky guess? I checked all my cameras and nobody came to my house. He later admitted he didn't.

This is all anyone can see if they search my house.

He finally admitted he was mad because I wouldn't take a trade on a gun I had listed on Florida Gun Trader. I did have my phone number and a old email account listed in my ad. I'm pretty good at looking people up online, but I have no clue how this dude got my real name and all the other info. My user name on FGT is the same as the one I use here. Pretty odd!

Sounds to me like the guy has no business having a gun, he one he was going to trade. He is unbalanced. If interested there are sevel app where you can reverse the phone number and see who called.

He's using a free app called Text Now. You download the app and pick what area code you want, it will generate a phone number you can call and text from.

You should notify law enforcement!

I thought about that, but I doubt the law would be interested.

*EDIT*

I thought about it, and did call the Flagler Police non emergency number. They said that people can do some kinda search with your email and get the info that the dude had.

Told them I wasn't worried, and they said there was nothing they could do at this time, but did give me a case number or reference number in case anything else were to happen.

Better safe than sorry I guess.
