Really want to get one. I own and built a SMR and love it but would love to get his idea of a Hawken. Just have to many other expense at the moment.

I really like my SMR
.32 caliber. Tack drivers.
I truly enjoy hunting squirrels with a small caliber patched ball.

My J.K. Hawken has shipped. UPS had it scheduled for the 10th. I checked this morning, and its been rescheduled for the 8th...
Looking forward to putting this rifle together and shooting it...
I'll take my time on the finishes for sure. Between work and honey do's i should have it ready to hunt end of the month, if late hunt in January.
