I’m just chill about it. I don’t keep a strict log of round counts for each pistol. I usually go more by how it feels and functions rather than sticking to a calendar or a specific number.
I changed the recoil spring in my S&W M&P .40 from a 16# factory to a 19# aftermarket to reduce the recoil, not because it was weak. It now shoots like a 9mm. Also, I added a Timney trigger - Big time improvement.
